The Role

We are seeking an Experienced Architect who is motivated to lead design, mentor others, and create architecture that inspires. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to be a part of a dynamic team where you will shape exceptional projects and define a model of practice where design excellence drives delivery.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and development of a diverse range of projects across all phases - including conceptual, schematic, design development, detailed documentation.
  • Provide technical support to the project team throughout construction
  • Bring a strong design aesthetic whilst balancing form, function and the client brief, delivering well resolved architecture
  • Support the management of client relationships throughout the design phase
  • Collaborate with consultants, and suppliers throughout design and construction
  • Manage timelines, budget parameters and design quality and ensuring all designs comply with relevant building codes, regulations and safety and sustainability standards
  • Provide support to the Pre-Construction team with scope of works preparation and detailed D&C costing reviews.
  • Continuously drive best practice, process improvement and provide support to the growth and development of the design team, whilst promoting collaboration and integration with the broader business.
Skills & Experience
  • A recognised architectural qualification and/or registration as an Architect (or eligibility for registration) in SA.
  • At least 5 years' post-graduate experience, delivering projects from concept through construction, ideally in both commercial and high-end residential sectors.
  • Proven ability to lead design teams, mentor staff, and coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary consultants.
  • Strong knowledge of the NCC/BCA, Australian Standards, and contemporary construction methods.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and project management software.
  • Demonstrated experience in contract administration, site-phase project management, and delivering within D&C and traditional procurement models.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a track record of building strong client, consultant, and stakeholder relationships.
