About the role

Snowy River Newcastle is seeking a Caravan Service & Repair Technician to join our team in Heatherbrae, NSW. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for providing high-quality service and repair work on caravans. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our customers' vehicles are well-maintained and ready for their next adventure.

What you'll be doing
  • Conducting comprehensive inspections, servicing and repairs on all makes and models of caravans
  • Troubleshooting and diagnosing mechanical, electrical and plumbing issues
  • Carrying out scheduled maintenance in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Replacing and repairing parts, components and accessories
  • Advising customers on recommended maintenance and repair work
  • Maintaining detailed records of all work completed
  • Ensuring a high standard of workmanship and customer service at all times
What were ideally looking for
  • Proven experience as a Caravan Service & Repair Technician or similar role in the automotive/RV industry
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of caravan and recreational vehicle systems, including mechanics, electrics, plumbing and appliances
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Current drivers licence and your own reliable vehicle
