The role of Partnerships Onboarding Lead will play a key role in helping build, develop, and lead an improved onboarding process for Partnerships to deliver greater 'Speed to Value' for ANZ, our partners and customers. This is a key capability for ANZ Partnerships and will involve deep understanding of how partnerships are set up and governed to realize maximum value for ANZ. This role will also be responsible for driving forward the commercialization of data sharing in a partnership context, working closely across the organisation to establish guardrails, governance and go to market plans.

This role is dynamic, fast-paced and multi-faceted, with a strong focus on collaboration, strategic thinking and problem solving by continuously balancing the interests of the Partnership, Business Units, ANZ as a whole and our Partners.

What will your day look like?

The role is accountable for the following:

  • Enhance partner satisfaction and drive measurable growth through improved onboarding for new partner initiatives.
  • Establish a centralized Partner Onboarding Capability Hub to streamline and standardize partner activation and speed to value across ANZ.
  • Lead automation and workflow efficiency in onboarding, ensuring scalability, compliance, and seamless partner experiences building up to make "ANZ a Partner of Choice."
  • Define ANZ NFR aligned risk appetite guardrails, governance mechanisms, data protection requirements among others for different types of partnerships and initiatives.
  • Influence a broad range of cross-functional teams (e.g., Legal, Risk, Security) to streamline processes while adhering to risk, legal, compliance & regulatory requirements, with an appreciation for commercial outcomes for ANZ and our partners.
  • Drive thought leadership and executive alignment to deliver a modernized, risk calibrated onboarding process leveraging state of the art technologies like AI.
  • Lead data-sharing and commercialization opportunities by securing endorsement for data sharing across all patterns of data, with processes embedded and ready, and developing go-to-market strategies and plans.
  • Drive thought leadership in expanding Partner Onboarding capabilities & frameworks to Vendor Onboarding & Speed to value to drive operational efficiencies & effective best practice sharing.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a strong and robust pipeline of revenue-driving opportunities.
  • Act as an SME for partner data sharing within the team by demonstrating an in-depth understanding of ANZ data and related processes.
  • Share accountability for the development and execution of the Strategic Partnerships Strategy and OKRs.
  • Provide leadership for the Partner Onboarding Capability hub with people development responsibilities for direct reports (Business Analyst and Partner Onboarding Manager).

  • Data Sharing: Deep understanding of ANZ data and its uses within a Partnership context including a good grasp of commercial, legal, operational, and financial aspects related to data sharing contracts and agreements.
  • Leading Business Change Implementation: Proven experience in leading business transformation initiatives, including effective stakeholder management throughout the change journey.
  • Influencing and Relationship Building: High level of influencing and negotiating skills, with a sophisticated repertoire of techniques to adjust style to different contexts and audiences.
  • Communication: Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to create clarity and deliver simple, impactful messaging for a diverse range of stakeholders, including senior executives both internal and external to ANZ.
  • Strategic Thinking and Leadership: Proven experience in strategic, broad thinking within a senior leadership team environment, capable of being a respected and valued voice among the leadership team and other forums such as the Data Sharing Working Group.
  • People Management: Comprehensive management of the end-to-end employee lifecycle, from attraction, recruitment, and onboarding to performance, development, remuneration, and career planning.
  • Team Building: Fostering a healthy working culture by enabling and facilitating a safe and supportive team environment.
