Operations Manager – Wastewater and Water Treatment

Location: Perth-based | Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent

Iconic Water Solutions is seeking an experienced and hands-on Operations Manager to lead the delivery of critical wastewater and water treatment packaged plant projects, servicing mining and village infrastructure among other industries. This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a key leadership role in a growing business focused on quality, safety, and innovation.

About the Role

As Operations Manager, you'll oversee daily operations and manage the delivery of packaged plant projects and services. You'll work across our office, warehouse, and project sites, managing a small team and contractors while ensuring operational efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on structure, leads by example, and has proven experience in wastewater/water treatment operations.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience with wastewater and water treatment packaged plant systems
  • Proven success in operations or project management in construction, infrastructure, or industrial services
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing small teams and contractors
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • A confident, clear communicator who builds strong internal and external relationships
  • Ability to work under pressure and make sound operational decisions
  • Experience working with budgets, compliance frameworks, and systemised reporting
  • Solid understanding of WHS legislation and Fair Work obligations

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end operational delivery of water/wastewater treatment plant projects
  • Lead and support staff and contractors across office, warehouse, and site-based activities
  • Oversee project planning, resource allocation, scheduling, and performance
  • Ensure compliance with all WHS and environmental standards
  • Maintain strong client relationships and ensure high service standards
  • Drive operational efficiency, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support business growth through structured operations and process development
