Period of Appointment

Fixed-Term - 24 Months

Hours per fortnight

73.5 hours - flexible options available.

DutiesUndertake the planning, co-ordination, implementation and monitoring of grants, specific purpose funding agreements that deliver specific initiatives, services and/or major projects to the Tasmanian community.Participate in the development and ongoing administration of DPACs grants management system, supporting policies and processes.Prepare discussion papers, client communication plans, reports and advisory documents, including Ministerial and Cabinet documentation and correspondence, as required.Assist with client management, research, project, policy and grant management tasks as required.Build effective relationships with key stakeholders, negotiate and manage funding agreements and client expectations, provide high level advice and seek feedback to ensure continuous improvement in grant delivery.In conjunction with senior staff, liaise and consult with other agencies (State and Federal), businesses and community organisations on issues related to grant program development specific purpose funding agreements and community development issues and policies.The incumbent can expect to be allocated duties, not specifically mentioned in this document, that are within the capacity, qualifications and experience normally expected from persons occupying positions at this classification level.Desirable Requirements

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or research experience to similar level would be an advantage.
