Andy Cooks is looking for a creative and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team part-time, with a focus on designing high-performing YouTube thumbnails . You'll be responsible for setting and evolving the ongoing look and feel of our thumbnails to ensure they're on brand, visually compelling, and driving strong click-through rates.

You'll work closely with our producer on bothstrategy and design, ensuring every thumbnail captures attention, sells the video, and reflects the personality of the Andy Cooks channel. There may also be opportunities to take on other ad hoc creative tasks.

This role is two days (16 hours) a week. You must be based in Sydney and able to work from our studio.

What we're looking for:

• Excellent visual storytelling skills with a strong understanding of what captures attention in a fast-scrolling environment
• Strong grasp of colour theory, composition, and visual hierarchy
• Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator a must), and other digital content production tools
• Creative and adaptable, with the ability to match and evolve the Andy Cooks style
• Understands the YouTube landscape and what drives clicks and engagement
• Able to design thumbnails that are on brand, eye-catching, and sell the video effectively
• Comfortable collaborating closely with the producer on creative direction and strategy
• Organised, detail-focused, and able to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality
