We are looking for a warm and welcoming Ground Transport Officer to join our exceptional team at Perth Airport. Voted Australia's best major airport in 2019, we strive to provide a seamless travel experience for all our domestic, interstate, and international visitors.

As Perth Airport operates on a 24/7 basis, you will work on a shift roster, alternating between night and day shifts, covering our car parks and terminal forecourt.

Your key responsibilities will be:

  1. Providing guidance, information, and assistance to all Perth Airport visitors
  2. Delivering exceptional customer service and responding promptly to customer enquiries
  3. Conducting patrols and routine inspections of Perth Airport roadways, forecourts, and facilities
  4. Identifying any defects, hazards, or suspicious activity and ensuring area safety
  5. Maintaining accurate records related to health and safety, training, and customer service

We are looking for a candidate who has:

  1. Proven history and passion for working within a customer service space
  2. An approachable manner and ability to build rapport quickly
  3. Great listening skills and communication abilities
  4. The composure to handle challenging situations
  5. A full Driver's Licence
  6. A WACE certificate (or equivalent)
  7. Experience in Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control (pre-requisite Construction White Card) or the willingness to obtain these qualifications
  8. Experience in RIIWHS302D - Implement traffic management plan and RIIWHS250D - Control Traffic with a stop-slow bat would be highly desirable, along with a First Aid qualification
