Description:

"Our Burleigh Heads retail ready facility services major retail customers with a range of meat products. The site operates seven production lines and employs approximately 200 team members who work across warehousing, production, quality assurance, maintenance and other corporate enabling teams."

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced High Reach Forklift Driver to join our dynamic cold storage facility. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and safety-focused individual who thrives in fast-paced environments and is comfortable working in cold conditions.

Reporting to the shift Supervisor, and working as a small agile team, you will be responsible for a range of operational warehouse activities including forklift / high reach driving, loading and unloading of trucks, labouring, RF scanning, stock location and rotation and pick and dispatch orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate Counterbalance and High Reach Forklifts to pick, stack, and move stock in cold storage
  • Load and unload trucks and containers
  • Adhere to WHS and food safety standards
  • Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the work area

About you:
  • Have a current High-Risk Work (HRW) LF license
  • Prior experience in warehousing, including high reach experience;
  • Strong attention to detail and safety practices
  • A 'can-do' attitude - in this small team agility and reliability are essential;
  • The ability to build and maintain positive working relationships;
