Voco Kirkton Park Hunter Valley is a luxury boutique hotel set on an intimate 70-acre estate, ideally situated in Pokolbin at the gateway to the finest vineyards of the Hunter Valley.

Our hotel is looking for Full-Time / Part-Time Food & Beverage Attendants to join our engaged and friendly team, where your exceptional eye for detail and passion for customer service will provide guests with a truly memorable experience.

No day will be the same, as you will have the opportunity to work across all areas of the hotel, serving our valued clients in Epoche Bar, Locavore Restaurant, Conference & Events, and Room Service.

The Role:

  • Working across Food & Beverage outlets.
  • Creating a warm welcome for every guest that sets the tone for their experience with us.
  • Serving food & beverage to a high standard and highlighting promotions for our guests.
  • Making the perfect cup of barista coffee.
  • Understanding the menu and promotional activities.
  • Handling cash and credit transactions.
  • Working closely with kitchen and F&B colleagues to deliver a seamless food & beverage experience.
  • Setting up and packing down functions and events.
  • Maintaining your outlet – keeping it clean and tidy.

What's Required?

  • Previous experience in a hotel environment or within the hospitality industry is advantageous.
  • Current Valid RSA Certification & Food Safety Certificate (Food Safety training can be organized by the hotel).
  • Experience with preparing coffees and coffee artistry is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work across a rotating 7-day roster, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Great communication skills – warm, welcoming, and approachable.
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards.
  • Full Australian working rights.
