We are currently recruiting for a Coordinator on a full-time, fixed-term basis, 38 hours per week to join our team at YMCA Norris Road Outside School Hours Care (OSHC) Service.

About the role

In this position, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the service and the management of a team of Educators. You will receive support from a dedicated management team, including fellow Coordinators, the Senior Coordinator, Area Coordinator, Regional Manager, and the OSHC Manager.

Responsibilities of the OSHC Coordinator include:
  • Developing quality programs
  • Managing daily program operations
  • Coordinating staffing and rostering
  • Ensuring policy compliance
  • Handling administrative tasks
  • Collaborating with families and the school community
Qualifications and Skills
  • Completed (or near completion) of a relevant qualification in Childcare or Teaching (minimum Diploma of Children's Services)
  • Experience in programming and a passion for quality childcare
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid First Aid and CPR certifications, or willingness to obtain
  • Current Blue Card, or willingness to obtain

  • After School Care: 2:30pm – 6:00pm
