About The Role

We are looking for a Technical Product Owner with strong business analysis skills, deep technical understanding, and proven experience of driving delivery in complex, high-scale environments. This role sits at the intersection of business, technology, and operations — you will bridge stakeholders and engineering teams to define, refine, and deliver solutions that are secure, scalable, performant, and customer-centric.

Role Responsibilities

• Develop the standard ways of operating and building within the tech platform in a way that is robust, secure, efficient, accessible, sustainable, scalable.
• Document business scenarios, customer journeys and expected outcomes - mapped to requisite capabilities from technology vendor/solutions.
• Partner with various stakeholders to define, test, validate, and implement new features and ideas that delight the customer experience efficiently.
• Elicit and refine detailed requirements through interviews, workshops, document analysis, task and workflow analysis, surveys and process mapping.
• Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA, and technical teams to provide product context and requirements expertise: (detailed Functional and non-functional requirements, User Stories, process maps. Use Cases, Acceptance test scripts and criteria, requirement alignment with GUI, Screen and Interface designs)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret high-level business requirements and translate them into detailed application and operational requirements.
• Develop requirements specifications according to standard templates, using natural language where possible.
  
  

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3+ years as a Technical Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in a digital/technology environment (telco, fintech, insurance, or high-scale transactional systems).
• Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the wagering industry.
• Proven experience in Web Portal and/or Application development
• Experience in waterfall and Agile development team
• Proven experience defining technology systems with a track record of delivering business results through a data-driven ecosystem – notably leveraging customer intent and identity resolution for optimised outcomes.
• Capable of analysing complex data sets and delivering actionable business recommendations.
• Experience with instrumenting and leveraging third party tools to integrate systems.
• Ability to run and support a strong prioritisation process that creates clarity for stakeholders on what will happen, and what will not happen.
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in online gaming or payments a plus
