- Tier 1 Services Company | Transport - Opportunities for career growth & development - Dynamic, forward thinking workplace culture About Your Role: UGL is seeking a HSE Advisor to join its Manufacturing and Maintenance – Transport business. This role involves supporting site operational teams across two locations (Bassendean & Bayswater). The focus is on implementing effective HSE processes while fostering safety, rail safety, injury management, and environmental compliance. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement improvement initiatives. - Advise and coach managers, supervisors, and workers to achieve compliance and best practices in: WHS (Workplace Health & Safety), Workers' Compensation & Injury Management, Rail Safety and Environmental Matters - Conduct internal audits and facilitate external audits for HSE assurance and due diligence. - Lead or review incident investigations (using ICAM methodology or similar). About You: You are an experienced HSE professional with relevant qualifications and a proactive approach to safety and compliance. Skills and Experience: - Experience managing relationships with regulatory stakeholders. - Strong communication, negotiation, and influencing skills. - Proven ability to build effective working relationships across various levels of an organization. - Familiarity with high-risk industries like construction, infrastructure, or other related sectors. - Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP is advantageous. Qualifications: - Tertiary qualification in Workplace Safety and Health (Diploma or above preferred). - Incident investigation training (ICAM methodology preferred). - Lead Auditor qualifications in AS4801 or equivalent (for audits and compliance assurance).
