Do you love FITNESS? We are looking for casual reception staff to work in our amazing gym at World Gym Burpengary.

As our team receptionist, you'll lead customer service contact for all members, guests, or prospects.

You must be available to work weekdays, from 3pm - 8pm, and on Saturday mornings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Greets and checks in all members and guests

  • Sells all products and services

  • Liaison between members and Membership Consultants

  • Answers and directs all incoming phone calls

  • Fields all member complaints, concerns and overdue payments

  • Performs Opening & Closing Procedures for the club if assigned those shifts

  • Responsible for keeping front of house clean

  • Attend training meetings

  • Creates the "First Impression"

  • Making coffee, smoothies and other beverages for our members

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Must be highly motivated and energetic

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Organizational skills and Confident

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to multi-task

  • An understanding of health club operations

  • Cafe experience is an advantage but not necessary

  • Must be a team player, willing to cover or trade shifts when necessary

Reporting: This position reports directly to the Member Care Manager

Certifications: Current CPR & First Aid is required and you must have Australian Work Rights
