About the role

  • Team Global Express is seeking a qualified Forklift Operator to start immediately at our Townsville location.
  • This is a full-time, permanent role, Monday to Friday.
  • Overtime is available and offered as needed.
  • Unload and load vehicles, ensuring proper and safe handling.
  • Scan freight, sort freight, and re-palletise as required.
  • Pick and prepare runs for the following day.
  • Palletise freight for travel when necessary.
  • Ensure the correct movement and distribution of freight in a timely manner.
  • Complete all duties within set time frames and follow instructions closely.
  • Identify damages and report according to site procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with safety standards at all times.
  • Adopt a safety-first approach, demonstrating WHS practices consistently.
  • Follow company procedures, including hazard, near miss, and incident reporting.

Restrain loads safely and use straps correctly when required.

What you'll bring

  • Current and valid Forklift License (mandatory).
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently when needed.
  • Full rights to work in Australia.
  • High attention to safety.
