Job Description

As a Housekeeping Assistant you will be part of an experienced, engaged and dedicated team that is committed to creating a welcoming, professional and caring environment for the residents of St Vincent's Care, Carseldine. Please note this is a full time (37.5 hours per week) maximum term role ending in May 2026.

Responsibilities
  • Provide housekeeping services to residents in a care environment in a respectful and compassionate manner.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment adhering to relevant policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to support resident wellbeing.
  • Handle cleaning chemicals safely and in accordance with training and regulations.
Qualifications and Attributes
  • Previous experience in a housekeeping services environment
  • Chemical handling experience and knowledge
  • Previous experience working in a hospital/aged care environment
  • An ability to work within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong attention to detail and high level of customer service skills
  • NDIS may be a requirement for this role
  • Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check (NCCHC)
