Iron Mine Contracting are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our Civil Maintenance teams.

Your Role:

As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be required to supervise both IMC Maintenance employees & Contractors.

Responsibilities

  1. Supervises maintenance workers and contractors.
  2. Organises and leads maintenance training.
  3. Sets the shift schedule and assignments.
  4. Assists with maintenance policies and procedures.
  5. Orders tools, supplies, and equipment.
  6. Responds to maintenance requests.
  7. Makes sure projects stay on schedule.
  8. Leads safety inspections at worksites.
  9. Performs maintenance work as needed.
  10. Escalates issues to management and recommends solutions.
  11. Ensures the team follows all company policies and procedures.
  12. Makes sure the team adheres to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) safety regulations.

About you:

  1. Experienced leader in a similar role
  2. 3+ years' experience, knowledge, and understanding of Maintenance roles & requirements
  3. Trade Certificate - Mechanical
  4. Valid Manual drivers Licence
  5. Able to successfully complete a comprehensive pre-employment medical including drug screen
  6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
