About The Role

CrowdStrike is hiring a Software Engineer of Infrastructure to help build and deploy automation and services to drive massive infrastructure scale. The mission is to make all of our customers\' security-relevant data continuously available for automated detection and response, threat hunting, and other Falcon use cases. To enable this, the systems behind NG-SIEM are growing to accommodate >100 PB of event and action data ingested every day, up to 10 years of retention, and dozens of millions of queries per hour across large sections of the data stored. You will develop and maintain scripts, software, and infrastructure as code as well as release and monitor that software. You will join a close-knit, multi-disciplinary team working on a product that thousands of organizations trust to secure their infrastructure.

What You'll Do
  • Contribute to engineering efforts from rapid prototypes to large-scale applications using code in various languages (e.g. Python, Golang)
  • Automate processes and workflows by coding new tools and scripts
  • Extract data from remote systems and APIs for correlation and analysis
  • Collaborate with team members across multiple groups to design and build solutions
  • Continuously re-evaluate our product to improve architecture, knowledge models, user experience, performance and stability
  • Take ownership and be accountable for deliverables as an energetic self-starter
  • Collect data and build remediation systems that proactively identify issues, triage, and fix
