SEE Trainer

We are expanding our team and would love you to join us

You will play a key part in the learning experiences of our students and be part of the successful delivery of the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) program.

• Deliver language, literacy, numeracy & digital skills training
• Be part of making a difference in the community

The Opportunity :

• Use your experience to engage students, employ effective learning techniques, and maintain a student-centred approach
• Identify barriers to learning to support student attendance
• Bring learning to life for students and use different forms of communication to achieve positive outcomes
• Conduct pre-training assessments and tailor training to meet contract requirements

About you :

• Ability to work with diverse participants
• Be a driven, supportive, and community-minded individual, working with learners and, in some regions, non-English speakers to support them in building future opportunities through learning
• Able to motivate and upskill jobseekers to improve their LLN skills to complete education and gain employment
• Handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment effectively
• Possess excellent skills in training facilitation and assessment within vocational areas

Qualifications :

• Current Cert IV TAE or Diploma in Adult Education plus Bachelor with TESOL, or
• An undergraduate degree with a postgraduate qualification in TESOL or equivalent, or willingness to complete a postgraduate qualification in TESOL
• Knowledge of the Australian Core Skills Framework is preferred
