Overview

Clinical Nurse Educator – Rehabilitation Ward, Bathurst Health Service, Bathurst, NSW. Employment Type: Permanent Part Time; Hours Per Week: 20; Remuneration: $ $57.11 per hr (+ superannuation + salary packaging options). Applications Close: 4 September 2025 – 11:59pm.

Location: Bathurst, NSW. Bathurst Hospital Rehabilitation Ward is a busy 16-bed unit with 4 Residential Transitional Aged Care Beds and an Independent Living Unit. The Ward is co-located with Bathurst Hospital and is supported by a strong Multidisciplinary team and Allied Health. Bathurst Hospital offers access to ED, ICU, Maternity, Paediatrics, medical telemetry, surgical wards, and expanding Ambulatory Care and HITH services.

Educational support is available to staff. The ward seeks a driven, enthusiastic educator with a passion for engaging with people and working within a multidisciplinary team environment. If you are a creative problem solver with the ability to contribute to ongoing development of the unit, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities
  • Engage with staff to support education and professional development.
  • Contribute to ongoing development of the Rehabilitation Ward and multidisciplinary team processes.
  • Collaborate with Allied Health and other hospital services to optimise learning opportunities.
  • Support delivery of patient-centred education and safe clinical practice.
