The Role
As a Customer Insights & Strategy Analyst, you will bridge the gap between data and strategy, empowering the business with actionable insights and guiding the development of digital products that enhance customer experience. Reporting to the Head of eCommerce & Digital, this role combines data-driven decision-making with hands-on product leadership, ensuring that the eCommerce function is optimised for performance and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leverage multiple data sources to analyse key business drivers, identifying areas for improvement, risks, and opportunities.
  • Develop self-service dashboards using BI tools to provide real-time reporting.
  • Create structured processes for data analysis, trend identification, and stakeholder decision-making.
  • Work closely with marketing and eCommerce teams to enhance customer engagement and loyalty through data-backed strategies.
  • Lead all phases of web product development, including analysis, design, testing, integration, and launch.
  • Act as the conduit between commercial teams and developers, ensuring seamless execution of digital projects.
  • Continuously refine the website's performance, user experience, and functionality based on insights.

Collaboration & Leadership

  • Partner with key stakeholders including Ecommerce Trading Manager, Digital Marketing Manager, and Development Team to align strategies and drive results.
  • Influence and coach teams to incorporate data insights into their decision-making processes.
  • Support brand planning, forecasting, modeling, and performance reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

  • 3+ years' experience in an analytics-focused role, ideally within retail or eCommerce.
  • Technical expertise in SQL, Google Analytics, Data Studio, and Excel, with the ability to manage complex datasets.
  • Experience with web and product analytics, translating insights into meaningful business actions.
  • Strong ability to communicate data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
  • Passionate about innovation, data-driven decision-making, and improving the customer experience.
