The HammondCare Volunteer program is a great way for you to make a meaningful difference to the life of an older person, right here in South West Sydney.

As a Volunteer Social Visitor, you will provide companionship and meaningful social interaction for older people living in your community. Our client speaks both English and Italian, is a huge sports fan, and loves to chat. He would like to meet someone to visit for a coffee and a chat.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.

Requirements

18 years or older
• National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare

We'd be happy to discuss a suitable time during the week for a one-hour visit between 9am and 4pm Monday to Sunday, with visits potentially occurring weekly to fortnightly depending on your availability.
