About Us

Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) is a wonderful place to expand your career and grow your skills and knowledge. As a recognised leader in the healthcare industry, we provide a range of public health services to the Nepean, Blue Mountains, and Lithgow Region.

NBMLHD Community Mental Health offers a range of specialised services for children, young people, families and older people, through our community-based services and health centres. Our multidisciplinary health professionals and case managers take a collaborative approach to mental health care by linking with their patients to work together and consult within an environment appropriate to the persons needs.

Join our Child and Adolescent Mental Health (CAMH) team as a Mental Health Clinician, delivering community-based mental health care to children and young people aged 5–18 and their families. This role focuses on rapid, developmentally appropriate assessment and person-centred care, tailored to each familys needs, whether through outreach or local services.

You'll play a vital part in reducing hospital admissions by providing assertive risk management and early intervention. Working closely with young people and their support networks, you'll deliver evidence-based therapeutic care, strengthen relationships across home, school and community, and empower families to improve mental health outcomes.

As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you'll help shape best practice and ensure care is delivered in the most accessible and effective setting possible. Apply now
