We are seeking an experienced Communications Officer for an initial 6-month contract with possible extension in Fremantle and Kwinana, WA.

Rate : $64.93 per hour plus Super (flat rate)

Commencement : ASAP (notice periods considered)

Contract Duration : 6 months with possible extension

Location : Fremantle & Kwinana, WA (minimum 1 days per week in Kwinana)

Hours : Monday to Friday - 40 hours per week

Duties & Responsibilities

  • The Communications Officer will work across our clients' divisions to support internal and external communication projects. Key duties include :
  • Develop and execute strategies for communicating initiatives and projects to employees and stakeholders.
  • Research, write, and deliver internal communication materials while assisting managers and supervisors in effective communication.
  • Support the delivery of communication training.
  • Liaise with various departments to gather information for publications and contribute to communication initiatives.
  • Plan and execute communication activities as per strategic schedules.
  • Capture photographs and video content for use in communication materials.
  • Perform other communication-related tasks as required.

Qualifications & Experience

Required :

Tertiary or industry qualification in a relevant field.Proven experience in developing and executing project communication strategies, including on-ground activities.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Excellent interpersonal skills.Proficiency in Microsoft SharePoint.

Desirable :

Experience in an operational environment.
