TCLC is a state special school catering for students from Prep to Year 12 who have a verified Intellectual Disability. At TCLC we pride ourselves on providing rich, engaging learning experiences for all of our students. Students from Prep to year 10 access the Australian Curriculum in all key learning areas.
The school has a comprehensive Whole-School Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Framework (WSCARF). All students in P-10 have Individual Curriculum Plans aligned to the WSCARF. Students in years 11 and 12 have access to the Guidelines for Individual Learning (GIL), ASDAN courses and Certificate courses. All students graduate with a Queensland Certificate of Individual Achievement (QCIA).
