Looking for a dynamic and creative Producer to take Many Good Men to audiences both at home, abroad and across all different types of platforms and media.

Role: Producer
Accountable To: Artistic Director
Location: Edinburgh & on location as required/agreed
Contract type: Fixed Term Contract for 12 months, 0.2 FTE
Wage: £40,000 pro rata (0.2 FTE)

Civic Digits are looking for a truly dynamic and creative person to take on the role as MGM's Producer, who is passionate about the politics of data driven technology in our lives today, someone who will be fearlessly ambitious in taking Many Good Men to audiences both at home, abroad and across all different types of platforms and media.

Purpose of Role:
To work with our Artistic Director and CEO to take Many Good Men into production for a third time in Spring 2026, to potentially tour it across Scotland into Football clubs and to re-make it with international partners.

Many Good Men has just been tested with audiences in February 2024 at Hearts FC. It is a groundbreaking piece of digitally immersive forum theatre about the radicalization of masculinity online. "Deserves to be seen by audiences both young and old" **** All Edinburgh Theatre Review. "This could change people's lives." Audience member and youth worker. "Essential viewing for our time, not only for young people, but for everyone who cares about their future." **** The Scotsman. It has also been re-made with young people creating and performing the show in Bucharest November 2024 as a hybrid performance using our own platform Swish to facilitate live online interaction through audiences' phones.
