We are looking for an experienced Senior Contract Administrator / Superintendent to join our growing Construction Management and Contract Administration team.
This is a senior role for an infrastructure professional who brings extensive experience in the administration and delivery of complex road and transport infrastructure projects. You'll take a leading role in managing major construction contracts, working closely with government clients, contractors, technical specialists and project stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with contractual, technical, commercial and quality requirements.
You'll be trusted to provide sound commercial and contractual advice, lead teams, manage complex issues and make decisions that protect project outcomes. Your experience will be particularly valuable on high-value road infrastructure and major Design & Construct, construct-only, collaborative and alliance projects.
What you'll do
As a Senior Contract Administrator / Superintendent, you'll play a critical role in the successful delivery and administration of major infrastructure contracts.
You'll:
- Lead the administration and delivery of major, high-value road and transport infrastructure contracts, ensuring projects achieve their time, cost, quality, safety and contractual objectives.
- Undertake the role of Superintendent, Contract Administrator, Administrator’s Representative or Principal’s Representative, depending on the project and client requirements.
- Provide senior contractual and commercial leadership across the full project lifecycle, from mobilisation and construction through to completion and close-out.
- Manage and administer complex construction contracts in accordance with contractual requirements, TMR standards, policies, procedures and relevant legislation.
- Provide expert advice to clients and project leadership on contractual, commercial, technical, operational and risk matters.
- Lead the assessment and management of variations, claims, extensions of time, payment claims, contractual notices and other commercial matters.
- Lead the resolution of complex contractual and project issues, using sound judgement, negotiation and commercial awareness to achieve positive outcomes.
- Manage and coordinate multidisciplinary teams of engineers, technical specialists, project professionals and external advisors.
- Provide leadership across technical, quality, safety, environmental and construction matters, ensuring appropriate standards are consistently applied.
- Establish and maintain effective project governance, reporting and contract administration processes.
- Monitor project expenditure, contract payments, forecasts, cash flow and emerging commercial risks, providing clear advice on trends and potential impacts.
- Prepare high-quality reports, briefing papers and advice for senior client and government stakeholders on project status, expenditure, risks, incidents and emerging issues.
