Based at our Mildura Base Public Hospital site, a permanent full-time opportunity exists for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our friendly and collaborative team.
Reporting to the Chief Technologist, you will be responsible for performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
As the area's main provider of radiology services at both Mildura Base Public Hospital and our Healthscope court clinic rooms, you will be exposed to a variety of unique and interesting cases, including Cardiac Imaging.
As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will manage patients and operate specialised imaging equipment in accordance with professional standards. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic person who is willing to learn in busy private practice and hospital settings.
This position could be suited to a new graduate or a more established Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
What's on offer for domestic candidates:
Join us and receive a $10,000 sign-on bonus, plus an additional $5,000 retention bonus after two years of service. For those relocating from mainland Australia, we're also offering a $10,000 relocation allowance, including flights and initial accommodation (reimbursement based on receipts, not taxable).

For overseas applicants, I-MED Radiology provides a comprehensive relocation package including:

Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Performing all aspects of Nuclear Medicine, including radiopharmaceutical preparation and Quality Control procedures to the highest standard.
- Consistently delivering high levels of patient care and service.
- Developing and maintaining strong working relationships with patients, referrers, staff, and managers.
- Promoting and maintaining the highest quality and safety standards.
Our Ideal Nuclear Medicine Technician
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Demonstrated ability to perform high-quality Nuclear Medicine examinations independently.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of health professionals and staff.
- Tertiary qualification in Nuclear Medicine.
- Applicants must be AHPRA Registered and hold a VIC radiation license.
