Overview

The Meat & Wine Co Southbank is looking for Bartenders to join the team This is a part-time position offering hours per week. Monday - Thursday availability needed.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operations of the bar, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and ensuring the bar is fully stocked at all times.
  • Lead by example to ensure every guest receives outstanding service.
  • Sell the menu and provide strong product knowledge and confidence behind the bar.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 12 months experience working as a bartender making cocktails (cocktail knowledge essential).
  • Strong product knowledge and excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • A valid RSA; experience with POS ordering systems and cash handling.
  • Experience as a Bar Supervisor or senior bartender in a premium hospitality setting is preferred.
  • Experience within the industry is preferable; basic understanding of liquor industry & retail skills.
  • Flexible availability over a 7-day rotating roster, including nights, weekends and public holidays.
