Your daily responsibilities may include:

  • Personal Care: Assisting with bathing, toileting, grooming, skin and oral care, eating, transferring, and mobility assistance.
  • Domestic Assistance: Housekeeping, laundry, meal prep, light gardening, and indoor plant care.
  • Social & Emotional Support: Helping clients stay connected through technology and activities.
  • Transportation: Supporting shopping, medical visits, and community engagement.

Benefits include:

  • Competitive pay: $32.86/hour + 11.5% super
  • Tax benefits: Salary packaging up to $15,899 p.a., Meal and Entertainment Card ($2,650 pre-tax)
  • Travel reimbursement: 99c per km

  • Support: Full rostering and administrative assistance

  • Parental leave: 9 weeks paid (eligibility applies)

Qualifications and requirements:

  • Experience in community or residential care, including domestic assistance
  • Certificate III or IV in Individual Support/Aged Care (transcript required)
  • Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain one
  • Valid Australian driver's license and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • Willingness to travel up to 1 hour to reach clients
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination (highly desirable)
  • Availability to work 20-30 hours per fortnight, with potential to increase
  • Availability for early shifts (as early as 7:00 AM), weekdays, and alternating weekends (preferred but not mandatory)
