Due to an internal movement we are looking for an Innovation Manager (Internally known as Innovation Commercialisation Lead) to join our Marketing team in a full time, permanent position based in Sydney, reporting to our Senior Innovation Commercialisation Leader. In this role, you will support, develop, and execute a funnel of consumer-led product innovation across an exciting beer portfolio that supports our innovation fuelled growth agenda.

A day in the life
  • Partner with the Brand and Innovation Team to participate in the identification of white space opportunities to build the 3Y pipeline aligned to support the Innovation and Masterbrand strategies.
  • Lead the development of innovation ideas including working with insights, supply chain, R&D, and external agencies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in the delivery of consumer validated beer innovation projects to market through the Stage Gate process to meet consumer, customer, and commercial goals.
  • Partner with category, brand, and shopper teams to engage customers on Lion's innovation program and support best practice go to market launch planning.
  • Collaborate with the Innovation Team to implement and promote best practice innovation and commercialisation processes across marketing.
What will make you successful
  • Experience working in a fast-paced team. FMCG experience is highly regarded.
  • Brand management experience with strong NPD focus.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams from idea to launch.
  • Strong strategic agility and accountability for commercial delivery to goals.
  • Knowledge of best practices in innovation frameworks and ways of working with the ability to transfer your capability to others.
  • Strong communication with the ability to build partnerships, influence and explore multiple pathways for solutions.
