Fifty employees, tier-one clients, and a CFO who will teach you the full close.
This construction contractor services top Tier 1 builders. The finance team is three people, so you will learn quickly and see the whole picture rather than one narrow slice.
The culture is direct and construction-standard, the MD moves fast, no two days are the same and you will occasionally need to jump outside of your scope to help the business win.
Salary: Up to $90k+Super
What you get:
- Tier-one clients pay on time every month, so you are not chasing debtors or firefighting cash flow.
- The FC has been here for over a decade and will mentor you through journals, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations as capacity opens up.
- One day a week working from home once you are settled, and flexibility around hours when life requires it.
- The business has grown 500% in the last decade, so the next stage will create room for someone to step into more technical work.
What you need:
- End-to-end payroll experience, ideally in construction or under an EBA with allowances and penalty rates.
- Comfortable with invoice processing, supplier reconciliations, and month-end tasks without needing supervision.
- Happy to work in a small team where the role will flex and develop rather than stay fixed in a narrow lane.
