Overview

AWX is looking for professional food production packers who are available to work Day and / or Afternoon shift. Monday - Friday . Day and Afternoon Shifts available.


Shifts
  • 8hr or 12hr shifts available
  • Day shift : 5 : 50am-2pm
  • Afternoon Shift : 1 : 50pm-10pm
  • Cold-room environment : 1-4 degrees Celsius
  • Weekly roster
  • Working with Fresh and Cooked meat products
  • All training will be supplied

Teams
  • Packing - fast-paced physical role, you must be OK to work in a chiller environment
  • Assembly - working on a line with repetitive actions and moving parts
  • Machine Operator- experience working around machinery, Industrial grinder & Mixers
  • Production forklift operators

Responsibilities
  • Have the ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
  • Have some knowledge of handling food products appropriately and within strict hygiene standard
  • Driver's license & own transport essential (plenty of parking on site)
  • Must be available to work a 38hr week, this role is NOT suitable for those candidates with Student Visa restrictions or those with work restrictions
  • Must be okay with working with a variety of red and white meats (including but not limited to pork, Beef, chicken, Kangaroo ect)
  • Happy to be Q-fever vaccinated, not essential on commencement but will be required to get it with in first month of employment
