• Total Remuneration $134,885 to $157,870 pa (including salary of $113,980 to $133,403 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading)

Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in nursing education? Join School of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Sciences as a Lecturer in Nursing (Academic Level B) and help build the future of healthcare by educating and inspiring the next generation of nursing professionals.

As a Lecturer in Nursing, you will play a vital role in developing and delivering high-quality, profession-specific education across Master's or undergraduate nursing programs. You will contribute to curriculum development, engage in scholarly research, and foster strong industry partnerships to enhance the student experience and program growth in both face-to-face and online modes.

You'll also have the opportunity to supervise honours and postgraduate students, collaborate with colleagues across disciplines, and participate in research aligned with the CQUniversity's strategic priorities. Your engagement with local health services, schools, and networks will be key to strengthening community connections and expanding the reach of our nursing program.

• Possession of an undergraduate nursing degree as well as a Master's qualification with a minimum three-year recent post registration clinical experience.
• Registered as a Nurse (Division 1) in Australia, evidence of meeting NMBA Recency of Practice registration standards. AHPRA site.
• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or ability to successfully complete within 12 months of commencement
• Proven ability in the education of nursing students, including the ability to write course materials and teach in clinical and academic fields of nursing.
• Ability and willingness to participate in research and scholarly activities including publications in refereed journals, conferences, research grants and contribution to research teams.
• Completion of a PhD or enrolment with Confirmation of Candidature (or near CoC) – Desirable.
