Who We Are

Dakabin State High School is a vibrant co-educational secondary school in the Moreton Bay region, serving students from Years 7 to 12. The school provides a supportive, inclusive environment emphasizing academic achievement, vocational pathways, and specialized programs such as Agriculture Science and a Basketball Academy.

Multiple permanent and temporary positions are available. Successful applicants must be available to work shifts from 5.00am to 9.00am and/or 2.00pm to 6.00pm, with a split shift allowance payable as applicable.

The Positions Available Are

  • 2 x permanent - 76 hours/fortnight (1.0FTE)
  • 1 x permanent - 16 hours/fortnight (0.21FTE)
  • 1 x temporary - 21 hours/fortnight (0.27FTE)

Responsibilities Include

  • Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors, and cupboards.
  • Cleaning and sanitising toilet facilities and sick bays.
  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  • Controlling cobwebs and mildew using extendable equipment as necessary.
  • Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt, and paved surfaces.
