Tintern Grammar seeks to appoint an experienced and dedicated secondary teacher to the position of Year 12 Level Coordinator, a key leadership role with responsibility for the pastoral care, wellbeing, and academic progress of our Year 12 students. The role offers the opportunity to combine classroom excellence with a highly influential leadership position in the final year of our students' secondary education.

About the Role

As Year 12 Level Coordinator, you will lead the pastoral program for this important year level, fostering a culture of care, motivation, and academic focus. You will work closely with students, parents, and staff to support each student in achieving their personal and academic goals, while also ensuring their wellbeing during this milestone year. Your leadership will encompass student management, wellbeing initiatives, community engagement, and the organisation of key Year 12 events. Alongside these responsibilities, you will maintain a strong teaching presence in your subject area.

This is a full time ongoing secondary teaching position, with the Position of Responsibility as Year 12 Year Level Coordinator offered for a limited tenure of 3 years, effective from Term 1 2026

  • The ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
