Overview

Geotechnical Engineer / Engineering Geologist role at Jacobs, Perth, Western Australia. 2 to 5 years experience preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Perform geotechnical field investigations and design works.
  • Develop technical documentation, reports and specifications of engineering solutions in response to a client's brief.
  • Support discipline leads, design managers and project managers with required technical inputs.
  • Provide technical inputs in accordance with relevant industry/client, Australian and International Standards.
  • Receive technical support and mentoring from industry-leading technical leaders within the team.
  • Maintain competency in geotechnical engineering and stay current with contemporary practice and trends.
  • Coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and develop and maintain relationships with colleagues and clients to support successful project outcomes.
Qualifications
  • Tertiary Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering or Geology (relevant qualification).
  • Experience in a similar role; work experience in a consulting environment is preferred.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal and communications skills.
  • Proactive and business-minded.
