JME Engineering, based in Unanderra, is a company dedicated to providing high-quality maintenance and servicing for all heavy vehicles, including trucks, trailers, cranes, and more. Our workshop utilises modern technology and facilities, ensuring the highest standards of service.

We are seeking a skilled and efficient Draftsman/Designer to join our team on a casual/contract basis to contribute to the success of our growing business.

About The Position

The successful applicant will work closely with our workshop supervisors and onsite VSCCS (Vehicle Safety Compliance Certification Scheme) engineer, preparing detailed technical drawings for our custom projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare workshop drawings and material lists for production;
  • Operate CAD design software; and
  • Maintain accurate and organised drawing records.

Skills And Experience
  • Experience in CAD design;
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
  • Good communication and teamwork skills;
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications; and
  • Previous experience in metal fabrication, heavy vehicle/transport, or related industries would be highly regarded

Employment Type
  • Casual position.
