The Role:

We are recruiting for an Event Sales Coordinator - Weddings & Social Celebrations to join our talented Sales Team.

The role is responsible for all aspects of developing, servicing and maintaining new business to include pre-defined clients and accounts/prospects as agreed from time to time.

Your responsibilities:

  • Answer enquiries from potential clients via phone, email or personal site visit and process using our enquiry system and software Ungerboeck.
  • Prepare initial event proposals and sales contracts to clients.
  • Attend site visits, meet and greets and Doltone House events as required.
  • Assisting with preparation/organisation of trade shows and internal events, as well as representing Doltone House at these events.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of sales and client transactions
  • Achievement of monthly conversion and business on the books targets
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients until event is contracted, providing expertise and support in order to facilitate the success of events.
  • Previous experience as Event Sales Coordinator within the wedding industry is essential
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Relentless pursuit of quality outcomes that exceed expectations
  • Ability to collaborate and cultivate productive relationships
  • Ability to communicate with influence, impact and confidence
  • Passion for customer-centricity
  • Minimum two years' experience in high volume, fast paced sales environment, ideally within weddings industry
  • Previous experience working within hospitality or event sales is essential
  • Experience working with budgets, client proposals and contracts.
