Employment Type: Casual shifts Monday to Friday between 6:30 am and 6:30 pm

As a Casual Educator at Goodstart, you'll be a flexible, team-oriented professional, ready to support our centres and children wherever and whenever needed. Your commitment to safety and inclusivity ensures every child has enriching and responsive learning experiences.

About Goodstart Shepparton Archer Street

We provide a wonderful, warm, inviting environment for your family with five rooms that cater for children in each age group. We choose staff for these rooms based on their education, personal attributes and life experiences to ensure each child is in the best possible hands.

You'll achieve this by:

  1. Actively contributing to the education program in the room and the centre team
  2. Engaging and supervising the children at all times
  3. Maintaining a safe environment for children, families and team members
  4. Building and maintaining strong, positive relationships with children and families
  5. Complying with National Quality Standards and Goodstart policies and procedures
  6. Supporting a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement

You'll need:

  1. Certificate III or Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
  2. Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  3. Current VIC Working with Children Check

If you hold an ACECQA approved early childhood qualification, are willing to travel between other local services and have flexible availability between Monday-Friday, 6:30 am – 6:30 pm, then please apply now.
