A rare opportunity to influence major commercial outcomes within one of Australia's largest integrated mining and infrastructure projects.
The Perth-based Commercial team is looking for a proactive and experienced Contracts Specialist/Senior Contract Specialist to support end-to-end contract development, tendering, and management across diverse portfolios.
Your Impact
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies tailored to operational, maintenance, and capital project needs
  • Prepare tender documentation and lead structured tendering processes
  • Conduct clarifications, evaluations, and commercial negotiations, ensuring probity and value-for-money outcomes
  • Draft contractual clauses, manage risks, and support negotiations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Administer post-award contracts, ensuring compliance, performance management, and resolution of issues or disputes
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to drive cost reduction, enhance service delivery, and mitigate commercial risks.
What We're Looking For
  • Extensive contract management experience in mining, energy, construction, or heavy industry
  • Proven expertise in managing contracts for goods, services or major works in areas such as labour hire and equipment procurement or infrastructure / construction delivery.
  • Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset
  • Experience using contract management systems (SAP Ariba desirable)
  • Solid understanding of contract law, tender governance, and supplier engagement
  • A relevant qualification in Law, Engineering, Commerce, or related field

This role is based in Perth CBD, close to the bus and train stations.

Please note that although the role can offer flexible start and finish times, you are required to be in the office 5 days a week.
