Northpark Private Hospital, where caring for patients means more.

Northpark Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care. With our current 98 inpatient beds, including Surgical, Medical, Mental Health, Early Parenting, and Maternity beds, this hospital is soon to complete a major redevelopment adding a further 22 Mental Health beds. Our Peri-Operative services are comprised of 5 operating theatres & a Day Surgery unit. This will be complemented by a further 4 brand new Operating Theatres and 34 inpatient Surgical Beds at Latrobe Private Hospital just 3 km down the road. We are very excited to extend this community service to the broader community with the addition of Latrobe.

What's Included in the Graduate Program?

Our 12-month program, available in full-time or part-time roles (minimum 30 hours/week), is designed to help early career nurses and midwives transition into independent practice and enhance their clinical skills. This program is paired with an additional Consolidation Year to ensure you're well-prepared to succeed.

• General graduate stream available – depending on hospital preference.
• One to three rotations within your graduate stream over the 12-month program.

What we'll need from you

• Evidence of Australian working rights.
• Completion of a nursing or midwifery course within the last six months or expected completion at least one month before starting.
• Availability for a minimum of 30 hours/week, on a rotating roster including AM, PM, night, weekends, and public holidays.

What to get ready for your application

• Your updated resume (Mandatory).
• Two recent student clinical placement reports (Mandatory).
• Proof of Australian working rights (e.g., Australian / New Zealand passport, Australian birth certificate, or international passport and relevant Australian working visa evidence).
