Strategic Lawyers is a premier law firm in Townsville providing high-quality legal services to clients in most areas of law. Strategic Lawyers recently purchased a large building in the CBD and have fit it out so that it is optimised for staff satisfaction. The new facility has staff car parks, a staff cafe and kitchen, breakout lounge areas, a massage room, a games area, as well as state-of-the-art offices and meeting rooms.

Key Responsibilities

  • The ability to successfully manage a wide range of interesting commercial law and litigation matters
  • The role is broad encompassing commercial law, business, estates, litigation, etc, according to experience
  • The role includes both dispute resolution and hard litigation
  • Excellent ability to successfully negotiate outcomes for clients
  • Briefing Counsel for Advices, Mediations and Trials
  • Opportunity to also work in other practice areas if you are interested in doing so.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience working in a Commercial Law or Litigation role
  • Prioritisation, organisation and time management skills to meet objectives
  • Warm, friendly and professional with a customer service focus
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Flexible, proactive approach to achieving team and business goals
  • Strong interpersonal skills to build robust working relationships within a dynamic team environment.
