The cook is to provide safe food handling, menu management and preparation of meals for enrolled children and to standards that exceed the national quality framework rating.   • Oversee distribution of meals to individual children.
  • Develop and evaluate menus to ensure children receive nutritious meals.
  • Provide meals according to the needs of enrolled children with industry standards.
  • Maintain safe food handling practices. Other duties specified by the supervisor/manager.
  • Raise purchase orders and receive goods.
What are we seeking in our new team member:
  • Certificate III in Hospitality (Commercial Cooker) or Combined Nutrition and Safe Food Handling
  • Holds First Aid, CPR, WWC and Drivers Licence (Class C) – NSW
  • Holds Child Protection training certificate (CHCPRT001 or CHCPRT025)
