Overview

NTT Sydney is seeking an experienced AWS IAM Engineer with a strong security focus to support a high-priority remediation program. This role is critical in addressing audit findings and ensuring compliance across enterprise cloud environments.

Duration: Initial 2 months (extension/permanent possible in 2026)

Start: Mid to late September

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and productionise AWS IAM solutions with a focus on AWS Identity Center.
  • Integrate AWS Identity Center with Azure AD and LDAP to enable secure, centralised identity-based access.
  • Eliminate uncontrolled use of credentials/private keys by establishing enterprise IAM patterns.
  • Build and remediate Terraform templates for AWS resources.
  • Harden and manage AWS instances and AMIs.
  • Implement and enforce container tagging standards for governance, cost, and compliance.
  • Work closely with cloud and security teams to deliver audit-ready outcomes.
Key Skills & Experience
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS IAM and AWS Identity Center.
  • Proven ability to integrate AWS IAM with Active Directory (AD), LDAP, and Azure AD.
  • Expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
  • Solid experience with AWS instances, AMIs, and container governance.
  • Strong understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
  • Ability to work in both design and hands-on engineering capacity.
  • Experience in productionising IAM and infra solutions for enterprise environments.
