The Marina Tavern is a favourite spot for both guests and locals, offering relaxed dining, cocktails, trivia nights and a buzzing atmosphere overlooking Hamilton Island's picturesque marina. Spread across multiple levels, it features casual dining, a lively bar, and a gaming room with TAB, Keno and poker machines.

We are seeking an experienced and professional Gaming Attendant to join our team and deliver an exceptional guest experience. This role requires strong knowledge of TAB, Keno and gaming operations, along with outstanding customer service skills.

Your Role

As a Gaming Attendant, you will be responsible for delivering friendly, efficient and accurate service across the gaming room, TAB, Keno, and bar. You will ensure compliance with QLD regulations while providing a safe and welcoming environment for all patrons.

Where you'll make an impact

• Serve patrons in the gaming room, including TAB, Keno and poker machine operations
• Accurately process wagers, bets, and tickets with attention to detail
• Complete cash clearances and reporting, promptly addressing discrepancies
• Abide by QLD RSA and RSG regulations to ensure compliance at all times
• Assist with food and beverage service from the bistro, main bar and sports bar
• Deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism and efficiency

What we're looking for

You are an experienced and motivated hospitality professional with a strong background in gaming operations and a commitment to outstanding service.

To be successful, you will need:

• Prior experience working in bars and gaming operations
• Current QLD RSA and RSG licences (Essential)
• Ability to obtain a clear Bankruptcy and Criminal History check
• Excellent communication skills and professional work ethic
• Open driver licence
