Now Hiring: Cylindrical Grinders / Polishers – Bayswater, WA

We are seeking experienced Cylindrical Grinders and Polishers to join our client's team at their Bayswater Workshop. This is a great opportunity for those who are looking for long-term, stable work with excellent pay and a strong team culture.

Our client is a specialist in hydraulic cylinder repair and manufacturing, working on some of the largest equipment in the industry—including full cylinder rebuilds for machinery like the Liebherr 9800.

Location: Bayswater, WA

Days: Monday to Friday

Shifts:

  • Day Shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm ($47.50/hr skilled | $56.25/hr qualified)
  • Afternoon Shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm ($57.00/hr skilled | $67.50/hr qualified)

What You'll Be Doing

  • Grinding hydraulic rods up to 8m long and 450mm in diameter
  • Stripping, assembling, and manufacturing complete cylinders
  • Interpreting engineering drawings and setting up machines
  • Preparing rods for re-chroming and achieving required surface finishes
  • Working to ISO 9001 quality standards under the guidance of experienced staff

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in cylindrical grinding or polishing
  • C-Class driver's licence and reliable transport
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
  • Experience with ISO 9001 systems or willingness to learn
  • Industry experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate
