I am looking for MR & HR Truck drivers for the Dandenong and Clayton areas.

Requirements:

  • Holding a current MR or HR licence with proven driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of local Melbourne suburbs and regional towns.
  • Safe driving record with a high focus on safety.
  • Ability to load and unload trucks.
  • Previous building construction product handling experience is advantageous.
  • Physically fit, as manual handling is involved.
  • Training will be provided to learn the role.
  • Early starts and availability for overtime when required.
  • Some multi-drop deliveries required.

About Us

We are a leading company manufacturing glass for the housing industry. Experience in the glass, sheet metal, or plastic industries is advantageous. We prioritize safety and training, embracing change and innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Hold a current HR licence with proven driving experience.
  • Good knowledge of Melbourne suburbs.
  • Safe driving record and high safety focus.
  • Load and unload trucks.
  • Previous building construction product handling experience is advantageous.
  • Physically fit for manual handling.
  • Training provided to learn the role.
  • Early starts and overtime when required.
  • Some multi-drop deliveries.

Your Profile

  • Previous truck driving experience.
  • Ability to work within a team.
  • Two work-related references.
  • Willingness to complete site medical and induction.
  • Team player capable of following instructions safely.
  • Steel cap boots and long pants required.
  • Work is Monday to Friday, day shift with early starts.
  • Ability to work overtime when needed.
  • Ability to drive manual and automatic trucks.

Pay Rate

Starting from $35-$42 per hour (ordinary time, day shift).

You will work with Australia's leading building manufacturer in the glass industry, with opportunities for permanent employment after qualifying.
