OverviewFIFO Refrigeration Mechanic role at Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia. Live and work onsite at Ayers Rock Resort in Yulara, NT (20 minutes from Uluru).
This is a permanent FIFO tradesposition with 10-hour shifts on a 3 weeks on / 1 week off model. You will be part of the Technical Services team, working on diverse machinery and becoming a specialist in the field as the closest contracting partner is 5 hours away.
Responsibilities- Comply with all reasonable Health and Safety instructions from management and Workplace Health and Safety representatives.
- Carry out necessary repairs and maintenance as required.
- Alert the HVAC Supervisor about air conditioning and refrigeration equipment that needs improvements.
- Maintain accurate records in the preventive maintenance schedule and other relevant documents.
- Australian Qualified Advanced Refrigeration Technician with strong fault-finding experience in Commercial and Industrial environments.
- BMS experience or qualification is a bonus.
- Australian Open Driver's License is required for all trades roles.
- Fortnightly tool allowance
- Roster: on-call payment plus 3 hours pay for each call-out
- Direct flights paid from Yulara to Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne
- Free accommodation at contractor\'s camp with utilities included; meals provided in contractor\'s kitchen 24/7
- Onsite gym access; contractor\'s card to visit the Outback Hotel on days off
This is a permanent opportunity as a FIFO Tradesperson, with 10-hour shifts. This role is an opportunity to experience life in a unique location and a close-knit community.
