Our opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Research Analyst to provide high-quality insights into market performance, risks, and return drivers for the Group and external clients. The role involves crafting analytics and insights across economic, demographic, capital market, and property sectors for various internal and external stakeholders.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Playing an integral role in the Group Research team while liaising with stakeholders from divisions such as Investments, Funds Management, Asset Management, Development, Investor Relations, and Corporate Services.
  2. Building expertise on property return drivers and becoming a key internal contact for market intelligence.
  3. Learning to utilize key macro-economic and real estate data sources, including segmentations that underpin investment performance.
  4. Creating visual storytelling analytics for senior stakeholders using charting software.
  5. Transforming granular datasets and internal/external intelligence into relevant insights for business teams.
  6. Executing regular external client reports and handling ad-hoc requests.
  7. Maintaining sector workbooks, outlook packs, forecast models, and chart decks.
  8. Producing quarterly sector commentary for internal and external clients and participating in presentations with the Head of Research and team members.
  9. Collaborating with New Business and Strategy teams on content for group and division strategies, project feasibility, capital initiatives, and Investment Committee inputs.

Your point of difference

You should be professionally qualified in Business, Finance, Economics, or Property Economics, with experience operating at a senior level translating data into business insights. A strong understanding of real estate and/or investments, along with macroeconomic, capital market, demographic, and regulatory concepts, is essential.

You must have confidence in presenting at meetings and possess clear, concise writing and presentation skills, with experience tailoring outputs for various audiences.
