Overview

Role: User Support - Buy-side Order Management System (AIM) Support Specialist - Sydney


Location: Sydney, New South Wales, Australia



Responsibilities
  • Provide high-level support for Bloomberg's buy-side and sell-side clients, collaborating with Enterprise Sales and Product to influence client usage patterns and ensure accurate responses to multi-asset analytics inquiries.
  • Gather client feedback and mentor and educate new employees to develop them into future product specialists.
  • On-board new clients and deliver exceptional customer service, building detailed knowledge of the AIM Buy-side Order Management System and related Bloomberg Terminal functionality.
  • Deliver solutions that help service existing clients and support onboarding of new clients, while maintaining strong documentation of client needs and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Contribute to product improvements and sales campaigns by providing customer intelligence and prioritizing product enhancement requests with Product and Engineering teams.


What You'll Need
  • 3+ years of experience in a Financial Services or Financial Technology organization.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in supporting or using order management or electronic trading systems.
  • Knowledge of buy-side markets and understanding of the full trade lifecycle.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholder levels (technical contacts, product managers, traders, executives, etc.).
  • Proactive, ownership-minded, with strong multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to assist with product testing and project management work.
  • Demonstrated career progression within an organization.
  • Strong presentation and English communication skills.


Nice to Have
  • Knowledge of connectivity protocols such as FIX, TNP, XML.
  • Interest in technology or coding skills.
  • Prior experience using Bloomberg enterprise solutions or similar products, and familiarity with applicable asset class functionality.
